Time Zone Problems

It seems when we updated the server operating system back in October 2010, the time zone stored in some user profiles was corrupted. If this has happened to you, you may see incorrect dates against some stories/reviews and if you are having email notifications about tracked stories delivered at a specific time of day, they will be sent at the wrong time. Those who haven't logged in between 3rd October 2010 and 18th November 2010 won't be affected. Everyone else should verify the time zone setting in their profile is correct.

Note: this does not affect the forums profiles, only the main site.

Interestingly enough, when I tried to change my timezone, due to a move, I discovered that Texas, apparently, no longer exists. Any help with that issue would be appreciated.

Use Chicago - see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tz_database for details of how these names came about.
